Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Why is a transcript evaluation required for degrees earned outside the United States?
A: A third-party transcript evaluation is required to verify the validity of documents and determine whether each degree is equivalent to a U.S. bachelor’s degree, based on the country’s education system and the quality of the school attended. We suggest an ICAP course-by-course transcript evaluation from World Education Services (WES). Transcripts should be submitted directly to WES showing completion of bachelor’s degree. We will also accept credential evaluations from firms that are members of AACRAO and NACES.
Q: Will you accept a three-year degree from India?
A: WES recognizes some three-year degrees from India: wes.org/students/indiapolicy.asp
Q: Will you accept transfer credit?
A: Valparaiso University MBA will accept up to six credits towards the core requirements from a AACSB-accredited MBA program, with approval. No course presented with a grade of less than B (3.00) will be accepted for transfer.
